Clarity & Agreement
​Defining the project clearly before designing the space
​
Every project starts with an inquiry. From there, scope, expectations, and investment are defined, and the relationship moves into a formal agreement once direction is confirmed.
​
We will have you complete a client questionnaire and provide photos, measurements, inspiration, and the details of how the space is actually lived in. Design work begins once this is received.
Develop

Space Planning
How the space works, before how it looks.
​
This stage defines layout, flow, and proportion: where things go, how a room is used, and how people will actually move through it. It's the structural foundation every later decision rests on.
​
You'll receive a 2D floor plan with two to three layout options to choose from.

Concept Development
Visualizing the space, feeling the anticipation.
​
This is where we decide what the space will actually look and feel like: the colors, the mood, the overall style. You'll see this presented together, so you can picture the space clearly before moving forward with selections.

Materials & Furnishings
Selecting the things that will fill the space.
​
This is where the concept becomes real: finishes, fixtures, furniture, and decor are curated. Decisions are intentionally layered to create spaces that feel grounded, considered, and deeply personal.

You'll receive a presentation board of everything selected, along with a detailed list organized by room, scaled to the size of the project.
Deliver

Design Implementation
See the design come to life.
Every conversation, every choice, and every detail considered along the way finally show up in the actual space. This stage carries the design through to execution, with clear communication with the construction team and guidance on site to make sure the work matches what was planned and is carried through with care.

Getting Started
There are two ways to begin. Clients who are ready for a focused session can book a Design Advisory Session directly. Those with a larger project in mind, or who aren't yet sure where to start, are encouraged to submit an inquiry — sharing their goals, scope, and timeline so Casa Ruby Design can identify the right level of support.

Scope & Service Alignment
Based on the inquiry, the appropriate level of support is identified — whether that's a focused Design Advisory Session, project-based design support, or full-service interior design. Expectations, deliverables, and boundaries are clearly defined before work begins.
Develop

Design Development
With scope confirmed, design work begins. Depending on the selected services, this phase includes space planning, concept development, finish and fixture selection, or furniture and décor guidance. Each decision is guided by function, balance, and how the space will actually be lived in.
Deliver
04
Implementation Support
For applicable services, guidance continues through execution. Support is provided to clarify decisions, maintain alignment, and ensure the design intent is carried through with care.

Completion
Each engagement concludes with finalized recommendations or completed deliverables. Clients leave with clarity on every decision and the confidence to move forward.
